It covers up to 460,000 hectares and around 3,100 farms over a crediting period running to 2043, and the project description states it targets net carbon removals. This is a grouped project: new farmers and hectares join each year, which is why the registry figure for annual removals (13,849 tCO2e, the validated group of 20 farmers extrapolated over the crediting period) is far below the project description figure (428,000 tCO2e, which projects the planned scale-up). The developer expects registration by February 2027. Until the Verra registry shows a registration date, this listing stays developer-stated.
