ZukunftMoor
ZukunftMoor Gnarrenburg GmbH
ZukunftMoor develops and runs peatland rewetting in Lower Saxony, filling ditches and building polders with sphagnum cultivation to raise water levels and cut emissions. Its Langenhausen project in the Teufelsmoor near Gnarrenburg covers about 50 hectares and avoids roughly 1,800 tonnes CO2e per year. The project's MoorFutures certificates were validated by the Universities of Greifswald and Kiel and certified by the state ministry for sale. CRCF carbon farming methodologies, including peatland rewetting, were adopted in July 2026.
